BUILDING SURVEY
The most comprehensive type of report available and is particularly suitable for individual properties, including large, extended, older, thatched or listed buildings. The report can be tailored to the needs of the client and type of property.
A Building Survey will include:-
· A verbal summary on the day of inspection.
· A budget cost listing essential and future repairs. (Very useful negotiating information prior to exchange of contract).
· Implications of any defects and cost of remedial repairs.
· Full details of all visible elements of the building.
· Major and minor items of disrepair and defect.
· Information relating to the method and materials of construction.
· Condition of the structure and likely future repairs.
· Recommendations for any additional investigations by specialists.
· Labelled photographs of various aspects of the property.
· A recommended reinstatement cost for insurance purposes
This report does not include a market valuation unless requested at the time of instruction.
